Thursday		Arrive & Setup Camp You would have been travelling down to meet us, now is the time to make sure you have enough supplies for the weekend, to erect your tents and to meet other Ventures as they arrive on site.	Opening Ceremony 7:30 This is the official Opening of the camp, followed by a leaders meeting to inform you of all the weekend activities Disco 60's / 70's 8:00 Time to Swing your pants and jive with people that you don't even know.	Units Choice It is highly encouraged for you to take part in the fancy dress, it makes the whole event so much more light hearted. Can your unit come up with the best Outfits ?	Camp Fire 12:00 till Dawn This is the first night of sharing Venture Yarns - Jokes - Songs - Skits so come prepared and ready to loose your voice
Friday	Blackgang Chine (All Day) The Islands no1 Theme Park. NB. It is not like Blackpool, it is themed not thrilled. Take time out to spend with your unit and enjoy the day. Water pistols have been encouraged in the past, but I'm not one to encourage it again. Please don't shoot the public - as if you would ! http://www.blackgangchine.com/ Set in over 40 acres of Spectacular Cliff-top Gardens - You will find a magical mix of fantasy, legend and heritage!!		Games Night 7:30 Well what can be said about GAMES NIGHT !!! A night of Horse Racing, Bingo, Quiz, 100+ Musical Chairs, Party Games, 100+ Twister This is a night that Ventures that have been to IOW Venture before go home and tell their mates.	Tarts & Vicars You know the score, lets see your outfits.	Camp Fire 12:00 till Dawn You will be learning the songs by now. So it's time to sing out loud.
Saturday	Rifle Shooting Try your aim with this taster of Rifle Shooting in the Main Hall	Water Activities Time to have a go at Sailing / Canoeing or Yachting, we are an Island so we thought it would be silly not to have fun on the Water	Karaoke 7:30 Time to loose your inhibitions and to look for the Star that is amongst us.	Children's TV This is one for the imagination, who or what you come as is very much your choice.	Camp Fire 12:00 till Dawn Someone come up with something original please, OK we all know the score by now.
Sunday	Judo Someone at camp you don’t like, well it could be time to get them back and through them around legally. 5-aside Football competition held at the school on the playing field, try your luck against the Mighty Management Team.	Head Hunters This is one of the best loved activities of the camp, you are free to run around a most likely muddy forest with guns shooting at one another, this is a similar game to paintball but without the pain. Sight Seeing If you haven't had a chance yet, you might want to visit some of the lovely attractions that the Island offers.	90's Disco 7:30 Well by now you know everyone, most probably intimately, so lets all party together as one big happy family just like Ventures know how to. Closing Ceremony The time has come to close the camp, but not until the Management have rewarded with prizes the Characters of the camp, and the Ventures that have made a significant impact to Isle Of Wight Venture 2001. You will know who they are as much as the Management.	Stig Of The Dump or Hollywood Your Choice Lets Ritz the party and put on a frock that will knock your socks off Or Lets put on some clothes that will make you feel the way that you smell by now, no need for washing with this outfit.	Camp Fire 12:00 till Safeway's Open This is the last opportunity to see the 'Crack of Dawn' and to share yarns and stories with each other, this is normally a raucous night around the fire with the spirit of the camp coming together for the last time.
Monday	Time To Pack Spare Time - Pack then Recover & Depart	Leave Campsite Time to say your goodbyes and fall asleep on the Journey home, make sure you all stay in touch with the Management.	This program is the program as scheduled on 01/12/2000 but is subject to change.

Additional - Last year we organised Pleasure Flights around Sandown and Shanklin Bay. This year if people are interested we will look into trying to arrange a deal with Helicopter Flights, please let us know if you are interested in this activity. It is an additional cost, how much ? we don’t know yet, the price depends on the interest in the activity.
